Accommodation within Kusadasi:

Once a little fishing port, Kusadasi, meaning bird island, has developed into one of Turkey's busiest and most Anglicised resorts.
Location:
Kusadasi is located in a bay, south of the Roman city of Ephesus.
Beaches:
Beachlife is dotted around the nearby coastline, and the nearest beach is Ladies beach 3km away. Beaches can be crowded in high season, but there are plenty of quieter stretches such as Pygale and Pamukak beaches to the north, and pretty pebble bays of Dilek Yarimadisi Milli Parki to the south.
Sightseeing:
Kusadasi is ideally situated for visiting historical sights. The most famous being the beautifully preserved Roman city of Ephesus, which was once the home of 250,000 people. The Greek city of Preinne, the Temple of Apollo at Didyma and the ancient port of Miletus are all worth seeing.
Leisure:
Kusadasi offers an array of opportunities when the sun goes down, with a choice from traditional Turkish cuisine to fast food, and many nightspots and discos. Choose from traditional lokantas to English and Irish themed pubs.
Transport:

Dolmuses are the easiest way to get around the area.
