Resorts within France:
Without a doubt there is a resort that is ideal for everyone. One in every three skiers from the UK goes to France for some of the best ski terrain in the world. The accommodation we offer ranges from basic self catering apartments, to our cosy Neilson managed chalets, to fully serviced four star hotels in some of the top resorts. What's more, France offers some of the shortest self drive destinations - you can book 'accommodation only' and save £'s off your holiday.

Apartments in France - Important points to note
Many people visiting French apartments have commented on the following. We want to share these points with you as, although beyond our control, they may affect your accommodation choice:
- Bed linen (but not necessarily towels) is provided, but beds are usually not made up on arrival. In some apartments there is a 'service package' that can be pre-booked to include beds being made in readiness for your arrival. The text will state when towels are inluded, otherwise bring your own.
- Check in - Due to the large number of apartments being cleaned on your arrival day the reception desk closes between 10.00 and 17.00 approx. and no check-in can be made until the desk re-opens. This means that you may have to wait some time before gaining access to your apartment and may have to queue at reception to receive your key.
- Children under six - Please note that French law forbids children under six years old from sleeping on an upper bunk or cabine bed.
- Cleaning - Washing-up liquid, toilet paper, tea towels, dishwasher tablets (where there is a dishwasher), cleaning products, etc. are not provided (except Pierre & Vacances apartments where a cleaning pack is included). These will all be necessary items and may be brought from home or purchased locally. A toilet roll will be provided initially but you will then be required to purchase them locally. Don't forget that a cleaning charge will be retained from the deposit if the apartment is not deemed to be in a satisfactory condition when inspected following departure.
- Deposits - Most apartment holidays require a refundable deposit from which a deduction will be made in the event of breakages or the apartment being left unclean or untidy. Deposits can usually be made by credit card. Please note - early departure from resort may mean that you depart before reception is open. In these cases your deposit will be returned to you, usually by post after departure.
- Facilities - Kettles are rarely provided, water is usually boiled in a saucepan. Kitchens generally have hobs, but rarely an oven. There may be a television in your apartment which was not mentioned in the brochure description. A charge may be levied locally should you wish to use it. We cannot guarantee English speaking channels.
- Standard of accommodation and decor - The general standard of accommodation described as two star is simple - these are definitely 'no frills' but functional properties. Space is often quite limited especially where the unit is filled to maximum occupancy. Storage space is minimal (particularly for those sleeping in the living area) and furnishings minimal. Decor is generally basic.
- Plus point - Overall apartments tend to be well located and offer very reasonably priced accommodation when compared to hotels in the same resort.
